Let no one deceive you...

...with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore, do not be partners with them. For you were once darkness but now you are Light in the Lord.  Live as children of Light, (for the fruit of the Light consists of all goodness, righteousness and Truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the Light becomes visible. This is why it is said: Wake up, O sleeper; rise from the dead. and Christ will shine on you. ...and if Christ has not been raised, your preaching is useless, and so is our faith; however (...and that is a powerful "however"):  He is risen. He is risen indeed!  Thanks be to God Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I have been listening on my phone to scripture almost constantly even as I listen to the unsettling news on TV. For me, this helps to keep my mind from going into panic mode as I remember why the Lord has "set us apart" from all others in this world that has no hope. There IS no hope apart from Jesus. ...and many of you are sacrificing your very lives to take that hope  to the "uttermost parts" of this desperate world. I believe in my heart this is the reason our Lord is staying His mighty hand of judgment. May this Easter season bring every one of these scriptures to the forefront of our minds.  I want to encourage you and pray for you.  Please communicate with me as to how to do that.
